When we went, the garage hadn't been renovated for decades. A clear sign of this was the terrible plastering, the old windows and especially the panel with ceramic fuses. First, we tore out everything old to make way for the new. The entire electrical installation was redone with enough sockets. The windows were replaced with new ones and we installed mosquito nets. A nice plastering and painting followed, but not before we fixed the drain - we plastered, sized and installed grilles. To make it look truly finished, we made polished concrete, which we impregnated.
Of course, what's the use of interior renovation if the facade can't protect it - complete thermal insulation, plastering and laying silicate plaster.
